Urgent Membership Update
Due to the current situation with the coronavirus, RCC will be following government guidelines and the recommendation from the ECB & both Senior & Junior Surrey leagues concerning non-essential contact and the suspension of all forms of cricket until further notice.
This means the start of the season, Friday night Colts and other events will be postponed with no known start date.
The welfare of all our members is of paramount importance, however the financial consequences are now incredibly serious and along with the recent government announcement, the bar is now closed for the foreseeable future, curtailing all revenue streams into the club; The survival of the club will be in jeopardy.

We would therefore ask all members to PLEASE sign up as a Social Member of the club at £30 per couple/family for 2020. This would greatly ease the financial burden of the 2020 season… a lot of money has been spent on the outfield in preparation for the season and other bills still need to be paid.
Cricket has been played in Ripley since 1749 and we are sure the entire community would want to ensure it continues for generations to come once this unprecedented period of uncertainty has passed.

If members are able to go one step further and sign up as full members as per previous seasons, then of course the club would be extremely grateful.
Should any games be possible later in the season we can work out a pro-rata membership rate at that stage.
